This project consists of a series of workshops involving Primary School children (aged 8-10), mainly from the Boroughs around the City and the East End, where we focus on history and heritage of the City of London - the most famous "One Square Mile" in the world. This project is important because it links children and their communities with the history of the areas where they live, back from Roman times onwards. The East End Boroughs have diverse ethnic, multicultural, migrant and refugee population. These areas should be identified as young people’s common background, their native place.

For more information, and to follow the progress of the project, timetable for the visits, information about the History of the City, vacancies and volunteering opportunities as well as possible involvement and support of the project, including sponsorship opportunities, please do not hesitate to contact us.
