Careers with Pro Art & CoWe are currently looking for a Project Co-ordinator/Evaluator. This is an opportunity to contribute to a heritage project related to the history of the heart of London seen through the eyes of its children. The post requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record of contributing thorough, innovative and matter-of-fact research and project analysis. The candidate needs experience to relate the project with the company’s constitution and aims, focusing on heritage aims and participation of local children and communities. The successful candidate will have a strong base of professionalism and an academic background (preferably degree in higher education), especially related to history and social sciences, an ability to deliver first rate project management, combined with a minimum of 4 years experience in project co-ordination. He or she must have a proven record in working with children, and also to present an up-to-date CRB certificate. The candidate must have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, and strong IT skills, as well as a pleasant telephone manner and a can-do attitude. The post holder is expected to have an excellent track record in management and leadership and understanding of voluntary sector organizations, policies and funding priorities especially related to the project. He or she also needs to maintain the accounts, reports (expected to be sent to HLF every three weeks in writing), admin, engage in monitoring, as well as all aspects of communication, including press and PR and experience in monitoring and evaluation of the projects. It is a part-time post for two and a half days per week over a period of 10 months. You will report directly to the Trustees and the Management Committee.
